How to play
Up arrow to pedal; down arrow to brake; left arrow to lean back; right arrow to lean forward. The bike has realistic momentum; over-aggressive braking causes the rider to be thrown over the bars; under-braking on descents causes loss of control.

- Independent bike-and-rider physics
- Three bike types: cross-country, downhill, dual-slalom

Editor review
Mountain Bike is side-view physics mountain biking. Cross-country and downhill trails. The bike has a rider whose weight you shift between bars and seat to affect handling, balance braking against momentum, and try to clear the trail without crashing.
Right, this is a genre that suffers from being adjacent to Trials, which set a high bar that most browser physics-bike games can't reach. Mountain Bike is competent but lives in Trials' shadow. The physics is okay. The trail design is okay. The rider-weight mechanic adds some texture but the game doesn't really push the player to use it consistently.
Where it works is the downhill stages, where momentum management actually matters. You can't just hold throttle. Speed builds quickly on descents and a wrong-line corner sends you flying. The five downhill courses are the part of the game I'd recommend.
Cross-country courses are less interesting. They're slower, the obstacles are spread out, and there's no real flow to learn. They feel like they exist because the developer wanted a "training" mode rather than because the design demanded them.
Three stars. Competent physics biking with one strong mode (downhill) and one weak mode (cross-country). Worth a play if you specifically like the genre and Trials isn't available to you.
