Drift Battle IO is multiplayer drift-arena racer. Score points by sliding through marked drift zones while opponents try to disrupt you. The format combines drift-scoring with collision-based opponent interaction, which is a more interesting combination than it sounds.

Honestly, the drift physics is the central thing and it's competent. Vehicles slide convincingly through corners. Drift angle and speed combine for points. The drift-zone markers create specific high-value sections of each track where the bulk of your score comes from. Skilled drifting through these zones requires line-and-throttle precision.

The multiplayer disruption layer is what differentiates this from a pure drift game like Drift Kings (also on this site). Opponents can ram you mid-drift to break your score multiplier or knock you out of the drift zone entirely. Reading opponent positions and timing your drifts to minimise exposure is the strategic decision the format adds.

What's mid is the track variety. Four tracks total, each with different drift-zone layouts. The variety is decent but not enough to support sustained play. After 20 hours I had memorised the optimal lines on all four tracks and the matches felt repetitive.

Three-and-a-half stars. Solid drift-versus-disruption format with limited content. Worth a play for the novel combination. Limited longevity past the first few hours.
