Editor review
Bunny Jump is endless vertical platformer in the Doodle Jump tradition. Bounce up. Don't fall down. Collect power-ups along the way. Doodle Jump (2009, Lima Sky) is the canonical entry in this genre and most clones live in its shadow. Bunny Jump is among the more derivative clones.
The mechanic is exact: you auto-bounce on every platform you touch. You steer left and right. Some platforms break after one hit. Some move. Some are spring-loaded for a higher bounce. Power-ups appear randomly (jet-pack, springs, magnets, the standard set). Falling off the bottom of the screen ends the run.
What Bunny Jump adds beyond the basic Doodle Jump formula is... not much, honestly. A bunny-themed visual layer. Some cosmetic unlocks. The procedural difficulty scaling is similar to Doodle Jump's. Power-up rates are similar. Best-score persistence is similar.
If you've already played Doodle Jump (and most people have, it was huge in the early mobile era), Bunny Jump has nothing to offer beyond a new coat of paint. If you haven't, this is a serviceable introduction to the genre, but the original is also free and more polished.
Two-and-a-half stars. Functional clone of a 2009 mobile classic. The original is the better play.
