Editor review
Sky Drop is one of those falling-object dodge games. You're a small character dropping vertically through procedurally generated obstacles, dodging left and right. Survive as long as you can. Score is depth-fallen.
The core mechanic is fine. The problem is everything around it. The visual design is amateur, the obstacles all look basically the same, the music loop is roughly twelve seconds long, and the colour palette is migraine-inducing on a phone screen at full brightness. I made it about ninety seconds before the audio became actively annoying enough that I muted my phone.
Procedural generation is also too random. There's no pattern to read, no rhythm to learn. Each fall is essentially a luck check against whichever obstacle the algorithm puts in your path. The good drops feel arbitrary. The bad drops feel unfair. Either way, nothing is being asked of you beyond reflex.
Two-and-a-half stars. It functions. It is not a game I would open a second time.
