Coin Rush is a sixty-second time-attack platformer. Run, jump, grab coins, beat the clock. That's the whole game and I'm not going to pretend it's deeper than that. Sessions take a minute and a half from boot to gameover, which makes it a reasonable fit for a quick break between things.
Layout reshuffles every round, so route-planning matters more than it should for something this simple. I'd probably enjoy this more if the patrol-drone enemies weren't so frustratingly placed sometimes. You can lose a perfect run to a drone you didn't see because it was off-screen. There's a frustrating amount of luck involved in clearing the harder rounds.
It does what it says. Coins-collected-per-minute as a metric is unbeatable here. Just don't expect surprises. Three stars for being competent at a simple thing without bringing anything fresh to it.
