Retro Pong is Pong. The 1972 Atari original recreated in a browser. Two paddles. One ball. Score points by getting the ball past your opponent's paddle. Game over when one side hits eleven. There's nothing to evaluate here beyond whether the implementation works, and it works. AI opponent on three difficulty levels (the hard mode is actually tough), local two-player on the same keyboard for when you have a friend nearby.
What's there is fine. What's not there is anything beyond fine. No twist on the formula. No interesting mechanics added. No reason to play this over the version that comes built into half the smart fridges sold in the last decade. No reason to remember playing it after.
Three stars because it does what it says. Two if you've already played any Pong this decade.
