Click or tap any block on the grid. The block explodes; explosions spread to all adjacent (up/down/left/right) same-coloured blocks; each of those triggers further spread. Score equals the total blocks exploded squared. Some special blocks (fire, ice, rainbow) modify the spread.

Pixel Boom is a chain-reaction tap-to-trigger game. You drop a single bomb on a screen of bouncing pixel-mob enemies. The bomb triggers a small radius explosion. Anything caught explodes in turn. Chain reactions propagate as enemies trigger each other. Clear-percentage-of-screen is your score. Standard chain-reaction genre.
What I like about Pixel Boom is the spatial puzzle in the timing. Mob movement is procedural, so the best moment to drop the bomb shifts every few seconds. Wait too long and the mobs cluster too tight for an efficient chain. Drop too early and the chain peters out short of the dense clusters forming on the other side of the screen. Reading that pattern is the actual game.
The 120-level campaign builds complexity by adding mob varieties (some immune to certain bomb types, some that move erratically) and changing the radius of each weapon. It's well-structured. Four stars for a clean chain-reaction implementation with enough variety to last a couple of bus rides.
