Drag pieces from the tray at the bottom of the screen to the assembly area above. Pieces snap together when correctly adjacent. Right-click or two-finger-tap to rotate pieces (in piece-rotation mode). The completed image preview is available as a toggleable overlay.

Jigsaw Classic is a digital jigsaw puzzle game. You're given an image, the image is fragmented into 25 to 500 pieces depending on difficulty, you drag pieces to assemble the original. The interface mimics the physical assembly as closely as a touchscreen allows: pieces snap into place when adjacent edges align, and the snap-feedback feels deliberate rather than aggressive.

I find this category surprisingly suited to browser play. Physical jigsaws need a table and an hour of uninterrupted focus, and most people don't have either. Digital jigsaws fit a bus ride or a coffee break, and Jigsaw Classic in particular handles the multi-session save (the puzzle state persists exactly where you left it) which is the feature that makes the format work on a phone.

The puzzle pack is 200 images across landscapes, animals, food photography, abstract patterns, and historical art. The image quality is high. Some images are easier than others because of how the colours/patterns map to the piece silhouettes, but the difficulty is mostly controlled by piece count rather than image complexity.

Where I'd push back is the lack of a competitive layer. Daily seeded puzzle would be nice. So would a per-image leaderboard for completion time. Four stars. Smoothly executed digital jigsaw, lacking only a social-comparison layer that other implementations have figured out.
