Editor review

Goblin Hunt is fantasy bounty-hunting. Track goblin bands across the countryside. Eliminate them for rewards. Upgrade equipment with the gold. The format is the small-scale bounty-hunter loop and Goblin Hunt occupies the niche without much variation.

The tracking mechanic is the design's hook. You pick up bounty contracts from village notice boards. Each contract specifies a goblin-band size and a region. You travel to the region and follow tracking signs (footprints, broken branches, distant smoke) to locate the band. Combat happens when you find them.

Where it works is the combat-and-reward pacing. Fights are short and decisive (one-to-three minutes). Rewards are appropriate for difficulty. Equipment upgrades are visible improvements rather than incremental stat bumps. Each upgrade noticeably affects your fight performance.

Where it falls short is the variety. Goblins are essentially the only enemy type. Different sub-classes (warrior goblins, archer goblins, shaman goblins) exist but feel like reskins rather than meaningful tactical variety. After ten contracts the bounty-hunting loop feels samey.

Three stars. Solid bounty-hunting framework with limited enemy variety. Worth playing through maybe ten contracts before the format wears thin. Half-star reservation is the enemy diversity, which the format actually needs and doesn't get.
